About Us
The Library & Knowledge Services our mission is to support the academic community in their learning, teaching and research endeavours. We offer a welcoming and professional environment, providing a wide range of information resources and services both in person and online, as well as diverse study, learning and research spaces.
Our Research and Digital Services team focuses on assisting researchers with training, support and services including access to our Research Portal and managing library communications, systems and online platforms.
The Role
As the Research Support Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate the services and support the library offers for the Research activities. You will oversee the development and implementation of researcher support programs in collaboration with other areas, the Research Portal including research outputs, academic profiles and research data management. Additionally crucial to this position is staying updated on the dynamic research landscape and actively shaping the library's services, systems and policies to effectively respond to its fast-pace and changing research environment.
What you'll bring to this role
- University degree with at least four years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and relevant expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
- Experience and knowledge of developing and implementing services for researchers.
- Understanding of existing and emerging issues and government and industry policies on researchers in a tertiary environment.
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a team and to plan, organise and set priorities.
