About Us
Allied Connect is a multidisciplinary community Allied Health practice specialising in providing rehabilitation services to a range of clients in the community, disability and aged care settings. Our team provides Allied Health services to a varied caseload including neurological, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory and post-surgical/deconditioned clients.
About the roleReporting into the General Manager and working as part of the Management and Leadership team, we are looking for a Clinical Lead. This role is designed to provide complex clinical support, team support and leadership to the multidisciplinary Allied Health team. The role is flexible and may include providing face to face or remote support throughout Queensland, New South Wales and/or Victoria. There is a requirement to work collaboratively with your fellow Allied HealthClinical Leads from our Varsity Lakes head office regularly.
About youOur ideal candidate would be an experienced Allied Health Professional (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Podiatrist with a minimum 3 years experience in the community, aged and/or disability industry) with exceptional communication skills, a proven track record in mentoring and training staff, providing support and guidance for complex presentations and fostering referral relationships within existing networks.
As a progressive and energetic leader, you will bring a passion for problem-solving and provide outcomes to improving clinical pathways, processes and service delivery of Allied Connect.
You will be able to identify and development opportunities and foster new referral relationships to further develop the Allied Health service, through your skills in clinical peer review of reports.
Essential Criteria
- Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Podiatrist with full general AHPRA registration; Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA
- Current Australian National Police Name Check (<3 years old);
- Current vaccination status (influenza and COVID)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Community, Aged or Disability sector;
- Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the funding governance in Aged and Community care;
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven leadership management skills and ability to prioritise tasks;
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff;
- Proven ability to foster existing referral networks;
- Ability to identify and develop new referral pathways.
Desirable Criteria
- Proven experience in implementation of Learning Management System (LMS);
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent;
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015) or equivalent;
