The Clinical Lead is a vital position in providing Clinical Leadership and coordination in the Lower North Shore Child and Youth Mental Health Service (LNS CYMHS).
There is opportunity in the position to provide leadership across the team, attend Attachment Based Family Therapy Supervision, attend relevant training, contribute to the clinical governance of the service and lead quality improvement and service improvement initiatives. It is a position full of variety and challenges while working within a great working environment.

MHDA Statement of Intention
The intention of the NSLHD MHDA is to provide recovery-oriented, trauma informed services that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration.
The Clinical Lead in collaboration with the Service Manager provides expert clinical and operational leadership, supervision and oversight to the Child and Youth Mental Health Service community team. The position is required to exercise independent clinical judgement, initiative and problem solving skills to provide senior clinical support to the multidisciplinary clinicians with CYMHS and other relevant stakeholders.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Nursing with current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers. Allied Health Positions require minimum experience as a Level 2 or above. For Psychology, a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from an APAC Accredited University. For Nursing - Minimum 5 years full time post graduate experience with 3 years full time equivalent in the specialty field. In addition, the employee must have an approved post graduate qualification Diploma/Certificate or evidence or working towards Masters.
- Demonstrated ability to provide Clinical Leadership, service coordination and support to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in Child and Youth Mental Health clinical services.
