Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Set and uphold clinical standards and protocols, maintaining high-quality care. π₯
- Direct Client Support: Offer expert clinical support to clients dealing with perinatal mental health challenges, anxiety, and related issues. π€
- Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth. π±
- Consultation: Offer secondary consultation to colleagues on complex cases and treatment strategies. π€
- Group Facilitation: Lead group sessions focused on recovery, facilitating discussions among parents and their babies. πΆπ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
- Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team to address the holistic needs of clients and their families. π€
- Outreach Services: Deliver outreach services as required, constituting up to 10% of the role. π
- Case Management: Manage a case load of 2 clients per day while ensuring high-quality care. π
- Inclusivity: Engage with both men and women clients, maintaining a non-judgmental and inclusive approach. π
- Positive Atmosphere: Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere, utilizing a good sense of humour to build rapport. π
- Bachelors or Master's Degree: In Mental Health Social Work, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field. π
- Experience: Extensive experience working with perinatal mental health, anxiety, and related concerns. π
- Group Facilitation: Previous experience in group facilitation and providing tailored support to parents. π€²
- Supervision Skills: Proven ability to conduct effective clinical supervision and offer secondary consultation. π€
- Coaching Techniques: Familiarity with coaching techniques and skilled guidance for parents. π§ββοΈ
- Infant and Toddler Experience: Experience with infants and toddlers (0-2 age group) in a therapeutic or support capacity. πΆ
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds. π
- Attitude: Ability to maintain a high level of empathy, sensitivity, and a non-judgmental attitude. β€οΈ
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage caseload, supervision, and leadership responsibilities. π
