Are you a dynamic, passionate nursing professional with a commitment to delivering quality care? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in our team as the Clinical Manager for Emergency Services. In this role, you will take charge of comprehensive clinical management and ensure the smooth and effective operation of our Emergency Services.

- Extensive nursing experience in the fast-paced environment of an emergency department

- An adaptable and innovative leadership style that thrives in dynamic healthcare scenarios
- A talent for building and maintaining effective relationships with employed, contracted, and visiting medical officers as well as allied health professionals
- Proven capability in managing both human and financial resources to meet operational requirements of the ward and the organisation as a whole.
This is a full-time position, but we understand the value of work-life balance and are open to considering at lest 30 hours per fortnight for the right candidate.
About you
Extensive experience in Emergency Nursing is a non-negotiable requirement. Our Emergency Service operates from 0800-2230, seven days a week, playing a pivotal role in running a Chest Pain Unit during these hours. We also have a 24hr chest pain unit catering to STEMI patients. St Andrew's is a hub for various specialities, including orthopaedics, urology, general surgery, colorectal, chemotherapy, oncology, gastroenterology, cardiothoracic, haematology, and vascular.
The ideal candidate will impress us with:
- AHPRA Registration
- Qualifications in Emergency Nursing
- ALS accreditation
- Recent and extensive acute care surgical and medical experience, preferably at a management level
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of research processes in clinical practice.
