AddressResponsibilities:
- You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of outstanding care and services to our residents while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, our policies and procedures, including accreditation standards.
- You would also head a team of registered nurses, enrolled nurses and personal carers.
This is a permanent part-time position with negotiable hours. We pay above the award wage and offer tax free earnings through salary sacrificing. Accommodation for a single person is available on a share basis. Assistance for alternative accommodation will be considered.
Requirements:
- The successful applicant must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have the right to work in Australia.
- Ideally you will also have experience as an Aged Care Registered Nurse.
Ridgehaven Retirement Complex is a community owned non-profit aged care facility of 36 beds. Not owned by an impersonal corporate organisation. We are located in Monto Qld, next door to the doctors' surgery and local hospital.
We provide individual care in a home-like environment. Our facility is nestled amongst inviting and colourful gardens, and has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We enjoy the support and involvement of the Monto community on many levels.
Our facility was recently rated 3rd in Qld and 8th in Australia for the quality of our meals. Thanks to a grant we are about to embark on a project to build dedicated staff accommodation.
Monto is a pro-active rural community that offers a diverse range of shops, cafes, hotels, professional services, many sports, swimming pool, library, 2 primary schools and a high school.
