AddressCQ Eye is seeking a Clinical (Medical) Assistant to join our team.
This is a full time position, requiring a full time commitment.
Applicants will work alongside other clinical staff, as well as a number of administrative staff and must therefore be able to work as part of a team and have a friendly and positive disposition
This position involves:
- Assisting the doctor in all aspects of patient care to enable efficient and effective patient management
- Consultations with patients to carry out screening tests and medical history
- Answering patient queries
- Administration tasks as required
- Maintaining medical stock supplies
- Preparation of surgical equipment for sterilisation
- Setting up and assisting the doctor during minor surgical procedures performed within the clinic
Full training and support will be provided.
Whilst healthcare based experience is preferred; such as - Orthoptic, Ophthalmic assisting, paramedics, nursing, dental, phlebotomy or science backgrounds, this position will also suit anyone that is highly motivated and able to demonstrate a keenness to learn, and have excellent communication skills to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
