Bundaberg Eye Clinic is a private Ophthalmology Practice in Bundaberg. Our team provide a comprehensive eye health service for the people of the Bundaberg and Burnett region. We treat a range of urgent, short-term and chronic eye conditions, and provide our patients with quality eye treatment delivered with care and respect.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a part time Medical Receptionist / Clinical assistant for a 12 month Contract to cover parental leave. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person, with a can-do attitude with full training available. This role reports to the Practice Manager, and the Director (as required) and works on a rotating roster.
This role involves reception duties, as well as the provision of clinical services in a personal and caring way that is timely and responsive to patient needs.
- Conducting of diagnostic testing
- Measuring and recording vision
- Testing of eye muscle function
- Provide exceptional care and customer service to patients of all ages
- Medicare and DVA claims
- Process telephone and e-mail inquiries from patients, hospitals, GP's and optometrists
- Ability to multitask and prioritise during peak times whilst maintaining a professional, courteous manner
- Use of Electronic Medical Records System
- Coordinate and maintain medical supplies, office stationery, sundries and stock orders
- Strong attention to detail
