The Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) coordinates, delivers and evaluates Clinical Midwifery education programs at a ward level and provides clinical supervision in order to support development of evidence based, woman and family centred midwifery care.
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife (division 1) and a post graduate qualification in a specialty related to Midwifery and/or Education
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment and adult learning principles including the design, delivery and evaluation of education programs
- Clinical teaching and facilitation skills, including knowledge of competency assessment, decision making frameworks
- Knowledge and understanding of women and newborn centred care, evidenced based practice and quality improvement
