The Emergency Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is looking for Clinical Nurses.

About this role
This position works under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s) to practise as a Clinical Nurse, in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Making Flowchart. This includes:
- Providing advanced, comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Upholding and functioning within the organisations core values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.
- Acting as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition and collaboration.
- Access to ED specific study days run by our internal Staff Development Team.
- Work closely with 7/days a week support from Area Managers, Staff Development nurse, SRN Clinical Nurse Specialist, Patient Flow Co-ordinators.
- Work in a fast paced tertiary ED averaging 200+ patients daily.
- Opportunities for career progression, including post graduate studies.
This role reports to the Nurse Manager and supervises Registered Nurses.
