- Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice from the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum seven years full time post graduate experience with 5 years full time equivalent in the specialty field and post graduate qualification relevant to the specialty or evidence of working towards same.
- Demonstrated high level clinical expertise, critical thinking, and advanced clinical reasoning in the provision of person-centred, evidence based and trauma informed Care and case management for vulnerable patients with Complex Care needs.
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic and clinical service planning and in supporting organisational and cultural change.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in clinical and organisational risk management, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives, including delivery of education.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands and an ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a member of the Complex Care and Frequent User multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in building strong partnerships with multiple internal and external stakeholders who often have competing interests; excellent written skills with the ability to prepare reports, policies, and formal correspondence and competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages with a willingness to train in additional software platforms utilised by Ambulance NSW.
