Job Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant - Lower GI

YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Fixed Part Time Role
We are seeking a highly motivated nurse to join the Lower GI cancer team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant.
The nurse will be an experienced practitioner who uses and facilitates evidence- based practice which is visionary, creative and appropriate to the tumour stream/service
The successful applicant will predominantly be responsible for supporting patients and their family members through all aspects of their cancer experience.
This will include:
- Making phone calls to and taking phone calls from patients from all treatment modalities and managing new referrals to the service. The ability to work with all members of the team as well as allied health and community services is essential.
- There will be opportunities to learn and develop knowledge and skills specific to breast cancer nursing via nursing colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- This is a 12- month, fixed - term position starting 15th July 2024, working 32 hours per week and reports to Manager: Specialist Nurses
