Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- In consultation with the Assistant Nursing Director, Queensland Digital Academy and project team (s) undertake project management activities through developing a project plan to progress and manage deliverables in accordance with the project lifecycle.
- Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the implementation of digital applications and supporting workflows.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of inpatient and/or outpatient multidisciplinary digital workflows relevant to the acute facility and satellite hospital setting.
- Provide an oversight and work collaboratively with the relevant clinical and business stakeholders to develop integrated digital workflows to facilitate the safe and effective implementation and adoption of digital applications that improve business operations and complement accurate collation of data for reporting and improvement purposes.
