About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of mental health within a community setting. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Team Leader and wider nursing health care team support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for mental health.

• Responsible for clinical leadership for within Adult Community Mental Health (ACMH) service, Bayside through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competency according to contemporary practice and standards of care.
• Maintain high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to inform and train the healthcare team of clinical practice updates and research findings within ACMH area.
• Responsible for the content expertise for ACMH to provide the highest standards of safe quality care and clinical nursing practice to meet the requirements for person centred care.
