The position includes and is not limited to RACF resident support and advice; education and support of RACF nursing staff; and working with relevant stakeholders.
Key Information:
- $75 per hour - Casual employment.
- Flexible working arrangements - WFH options available!
- Flexible roster, pick and choose when you work (Between Monday to Friday).
- Commence in July or August 2024.
- One on one training and on-going support provided by our National Manager.

About the role:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients with complex wound management needs referred to AHP Aged Care.
- Document and record all required information accurately.
- Provide skilled nursing care following organisational guidelines and standards.
- Offer timely and appropriate health education to residents and RACF nursing staff.
- Train nursing staff as per RACF referral requests.
- Participate effectively as a multidisciplinary team member with external partners in collaborative programs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service exceeding patient expectations.
- Respond effectively in emergencies, demonstrating critical thinking skills.
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificate without any notations.
- Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner (Desirable)
- Demonstrated advanced and current clinical nursing knowledge, skills, and experience in Wound Care Management. (At least 3 years of Wound Care CNC or NP experience).
- Post graduate qualifications in Wound Care (or working toward this qualification).
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Or willing to apply through AHP).
- National Police Check (within the last three years).
- Two successful clinical references.
- Up to date with flu & COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (Desirable)
- Australian business number (ABN) or willing to apply.
