About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for planning and delivering effective training using selected tools to Registered Nurses (RNs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). You will also be delivering targeted development and support that builds skill and capability.
A significant proportion of time will be spent facilitating our face-to-face training programs. The role is dedicated to quickly and effectively drive performance improvement so that our residents receive superior care and service.
The role is also pivotal to identifying and supporting an adequate pipeline of ‘job ready’ talented clinicians who can be temporarily or permanently relocated to fill key roles across our organization.
About you
- Have a strong background working as a Registered Nurse within a Health sector and with delivering training in a variety of mediums, including WebEx ideally.
- Outstanding ability to enhance the skills of others and with a strong disposition to coaching.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and training programs.
- Familiar with Learning Management Systems.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Very capable and efficient user of Autumn Care (preferred) or similar system.
- Have completed TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment 4 in Learning & Development.
