Clinical Nurse

Permanent part-time Clinical Nurse required 4 days per week (Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri) in the vibrant location of Subiaco.

Our client, three warm and welcoming Gynaecological specialists, require an experienced, dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse to join their team.  The successful applicant will have a genuine love for helping people and being part of a team who strives to deliver the best possible care and attention to patients.  Excellent communication skills, professionalism and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively is essential.  

The Role:
Your typical day will involve: 

• Assisting in minor gynaecological procedures
• Pre-operative and post-operative coordination of care
• Liaising with patients regarding cancer treatment
• Wound care
• Treatment room responsibilities
• Maintaining recall system

Essential Criteria:
To be successful you will need to demonstrate: 

• Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 12 months previous nursing experience in similar role women’s health/gynaecological (oncology experience highly desirable)
• Experience with Genie software / computer literate
• Previous experience practice nursing
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Professional aptitude, self-presentation and reliability
• Booking and managing patient appointments / managing electronic records
• Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner
• Excellent customer service
• High attention to detail
• Prioritisation skills and the ability to multitask
• The ability to work effectively autonomously 
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional attitude, conduct and presentation
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• The ability to engage professionally with patients and other stakeholders
• Police clearance
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
