You would be working within a multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with children, young people, and their families.Our Aim:CAMHS NW aims to provide timely access to evidence based, trauma informed treatment for children and young people (and their family/carers) who are struggling/experiencing difficulties with their mental health that is negatively impacting on them and their engagement in school, with peers and/or other aspects of their lives.Your Role and the CAMHS North West Team:
- Be part of a dynamic and well supported team committed to delivering high quality mental health services to children, young people and their families/carers
- Undertake clinical services through the provision of assessment, case management, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs
- Work with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required
- Supervision, peer support and ongoing professional learning are part of the culture of the CAMHS NW Community Team
- Consult and liaise with the broader health system including GPs and other Agencies to optimise service effectiveness, efficiency and continuity of care.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services - North WestSalary: $103,466 - $109,165 per annum + 11% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Multidisciplinary allowance may also apply
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed, prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, an accredited hospital based program that leads to registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse regulatory authority within Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom
