We are currently looking for looking Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our Continence Service team at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
This is a recruitment pool for permanent part time appointments.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 28/02/2025.
The Continence Service aims to provide excellent, evidence-based continence assessment and management to patients who suffer from urinary or faecal incontinence, and their families or carers.
In partnership with the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), this role is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their speciality. You will support the CNC by supervising the delivery of quality patient care. This is achieved by developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, education of staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities. You will also be responsible for the provision of a consultation service within their area of expertise within the Hospital.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist works collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the Continence patient population within the inpatient and ambulatory care setting.
As a senior nurse, you have professional accountability to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery. You will provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contributes to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Nursing.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
