Position Profile: Coordinate clinical activity within the unit, under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure effective delivery of patient care supporting a clinical governance model of inter-disciplinary service delivery. This position acts as the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) and delegate in the absence of the CNM.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated recent clinical competence and extensive experience relevant to the area of specialty (emergency nursing) in a complex health care setting, including the effective coordination of staffing and clinical resources.
- Demonstrated well-developed verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to liaise and consult with people in a variety of contexts.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary quality and risk management principles and ability to provide a high level of customer service.
