What you'll be doing
The Clinical Products Manager - Perioperative is responsible for ensuring that clinical products utilised within the perioperative environment are appropriate to the functions of the ISLHD perioperative service and comply with NSW Health Purchasing and Supply policies and Procedures, NSW Ministry of Health directives, State Contracts and relevant standards.
Provide extensive knowledge as a resource for the peri-operative suite on clinical products and the procurement and ordering of these through relevant inventory systems used within ISHLD.
Accountable for ensuring purchasing and contract agreements meet allocated budgets and ensuring targets are met.
Manages the roles within the Clinical Products team.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

Selection Criteria
Relevant and demonstrated experience in clinical procurement or experience in public sector procurement and is willing to undertake additional vocational training.
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement procedures within the Public Sector, including understanding of NSW Government purchasing policies.
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical products of a variety of specialties, and their application within the Operating Theatre.
Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making.
Demonstrated experience effectively leading a team to deliver required outcomes.
Proven capacity to analyse key performance and financial data and make decisions based on information available.
High level computer skills including experience with Microsoft, Excel, Web Research, Oracle procurement and all ISLDH IT applications relevant to clinical products.
