- Is passionate about Psychology first and foremost.
- Understands the public practice environment and get a kick out of helping others and making a difference.
- Has a Current registration to practice as a psychologist, endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and ACPA.
What you'll be doing
This position provides evidence based psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and treatment of psychopathology as it is manifested in cognitive, emotional, motivational, personality and behavioural disturbances. Patients/clients/consumers will be seen individually and may be seen in groups for treatment. The Clinical Psychologist will participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services, assist in the development and provision of education and training programs, and will be expected to supervise post-graduate provisional psychologists where appropriate. Clinical work will occur within the context of a multidisciplinary health care team.
