What you'll be doing

Provide specialist assessment, formulation of care and enactment of treatment across all levels of health need, for consumers of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service. Participate in psychological assessment of complex presentations as part of a co-ordinated multidisciplinary teamwork approach.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
All workers and new recruits are required to receive 2 doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine to commence employment/ engagement or continue to work within a NSW Health service.
A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements.
In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.
Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.

Selection Criteria:
- Current Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychology (or working towards endorsement) along with a minimum two-year full-time accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in Psychology.
- Demonstrated skills in comprehensive psychological assessment, management planning and delivering evidence based care to individuals with acute, enduring and complex Mental Health problems.
- Previous experience working in a Mental Health service setting.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Computer literacy & sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Provide specialist assessment, formulation of care and enactment of treatment across all levels of health need, for consumers of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service Participate in psychological assessment of complex presentations as part of a coordinated multidisciplinary teamwork approach .
- Current unrestricted NSW Class C driver's licence.
