Who we are:
Programmed Care is a leading provider of care, support and in-home services to clients throughout Australia across a variety of programs. Our client base spans across the Disability, Veterans Health, Aged Care and Community Nursing industries. With our business rapidly growing across Australia, we are seeking an experienced clinician within the Disability Sector. The Clinical Quality & Risk Advisor- Disability will be an integral part of our national Disability Business providing clinical oversight, advice, education across our service delivery areas.
The Role:
The position is responsible for supporting a culture of the safe delivery of quality care, underpinned by Programmed Care's Clinical Governance Framework. This position is the key point of contact, providing knowledge and support, regarding clinical matters, to our Care Unit team members and disability leadership team.
The position will be responsible for the creation and regular review of all clinical policies and procedures, in line with the Group document control procedure, reporting on clinical incidents, chairing the monthly Clinical Governance Committee, assisting in the successful ahievement of business accreditations (relating to clinical governance), and provide clinical education and direction to support operations.
Key Requirements:
- Current nursing registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience within the Disability sector
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with education, policy or risk management is highly desirable
- Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment
- NDIS Workers Screen Check
Day to Day Duties:
Provide support, guidance, and oversight to service delivery teams
- Develop, review, and manage clinical policies and procedures
- Monitor, investigate and manage client incidents
- Chair and lead clinical governance committee
- Develop and implement education material
- Coordinate and delivery in-house training
