We are seeking applications from enthusiastic and experienced senior nurses to assume the role of Clinical Services Coordinator. This is a key role making up a critical component of the nursing management team.
You will provide operational management, professional clinical leadership and supervision after hours.
You will be a vital link between the "in hours" and "after hours" nursing teams while assuming the responsibilities for patient access and casual staffing allocations after hours, ensuring timely patient access and resources are available to meet identified needs.
Position Responsibilities
The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational direction of the hospital to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
You will oversee and manage the After Hours Managers, Casual staff pool & Ward CMO's as well as providing oversight of the Support Services departments (Food + Environmental Services) to allow for efficient bed management and a positive patient journey.
Working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, and Nurse Unit Managers, you will be accountable and responsible for the effective after-hours management of human, financial and material resources.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
- Recent management experience at ANUM level or higher
- Tertiary Qualification in a health related discipline or management
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members
- Superior time management and organisational skills
