Job description

Join our client's dynamic team on a full-time, permanent or contract basis as a Service Manager or Clinical Services Manager in either the Western or South Western Sydney area. Multiple roles avaulable. 

As the Service Manager or Clinical Services Manager you'll be at the forefront of initiating, leading, and coordinating strategic partnerships within the community, Primary Health Networks, Area Mental Health Services, local government, and health & welfare providers.

Your role is crucial in enhancing health and well-being outcomes for consumers by identifying service gaps and developing innovative models of service delivery in collaboration with partners, staff, and consumers.

Supported by the greater management team, you will spearhead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the specialist service Centre.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring services are easily accessible and monitoring access levels regularly. You'll also be pivotal in achieving targets for the inclusion of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.

Core Duties:

  • Provide clinical oversight and positive leadership to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of clinical governance within the team, emphasizing quality improvement activities and compliance with Neami's standards.
  • Uphold Neami's culture of collaborative recovery, ensuring a consumer-centered approach in all services.
  • Ensure services align with the Clinical Governance Framework.
What You'll Need:
  • Highly regarded if you have Registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, or eligibility as a Social Worker in Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the Human Services Sector.
  • Highly regarded if AHPRA OR AASW Registration and commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Other requirements include a current NSW Working with Children Check, a Police check, and a driver’s license.
  • Full vaccination for COVID-19 (or scheduled appointment for the second dose) 
  • Ability to work a 7-day Rotating Roster (including some evening and weekend shifts - these can be set and some flexibility can be offered)
