The Clinical Trials Coordinator position is to assist in coordinating clinical trials at St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research – Clinical Research Program. About you:
We require a dynamic, motivated and a highly skilled registered nurse to deliver excellence in patient care and research in an ambulatory care setting. The Dysplasia and Anal Cancer Services (DACS) Clinical Trials Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the research and clinical components of research programs delivered through DACS and provide assistance to the staff and patients. The position holder will coordinate care required in accordance with clinical trial protocols with other members of the team and assist clinical trial specialties such as HIV and Immunology care for clinical trial participants.

Selection Criteria:
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills and a methodical and meticulous approach to the recording of clinical information.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated experience in presenting to other health professionals for education purposes.
Demonstrable knowledge and/ or skills in a clinical research environment, or willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
Sound computer skills demonstrated by the ability to use standard MS-Office software tools including email, word, excel and/or clinical research software such as CTMS, REGIS, REDCap, Shared Investigator Platform (SIP).
