Warringal Private hospital is a 76-bed facility based in Heidelberg, Victoria. With a large oncology service, an intensive care unit and high-volume cardiology, there are a number of trials underway.
Working alongside experienced Clinical Trials Coordinators, this role provides an opportunity for both an experienced Trials Coordinator or staff new to Clinical Trials who wish to develop in this area. The role will support existing and new Clinical Trials and submissions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Registered or Enrolled Nurse currently authorised to practice by AHPRA, or equivalent allied health or science qualification
- Strong experience in a research or clinical environment, including experience in the conduct and coordination of Clinical Trials
- Demonstrated understanding of Clinical Trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements
- Ability to develop rapport with patients and their families in stressful situations
- Proficient computer software, informatics, data collection and/or media skills
- Prior experience in a Clinical Trials/Research setting, or a genuine interest in the area.
- Experience working with busy clinicians
- Proven ability to establish relationships, influence, and work in partnership with stakeholders and employees at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to pursue challenging goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
- Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.
