A high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage MULTIPLE experienced System Administrators to join their skilled team. You will be responsible for delivering cutting edge capabilities by managing servers and associated networking hardware and software. The successful System Administrators will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.
The successful System Administrators will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Installing, configuring and maintaining servers
- Monitoring system performance and security
- Developing and enhancing policies and procedures
The successful System Administrators will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience with a range of ICT hardware including servers and network appliances
- Experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux or similar Linux distributions
- Experience with virtual/cloud computing
- Skills/knowledge in ICT system security, database administration, network security products, AWS or Hadoop is a highly desirable
