Join our growing Cloud Services Division which is leading the adoption and future of public cloud services in NSW Health. You will be collaborating with various teams across the business to ensure customer focussed service and delivery and the running of cloud platforms. As technology develops, it will be part of your role to drive the team and foster a culture of growth through continuous learning and improvements across our Cloud Services

We have an exciting opportunity in the Cloud Services Division for a Cloud Delivery Architect.

Reporting into the Director of Cloud Services, you will lead with technology strategy to drive enablement, delivery, and adoption of Cloud Services. This will include Cloud architecture, design and delivery of robust, secure, and scalable solutions to drive business objectives, ensuring continuous improvement and growth of the use of Cloud in the public health system. This role will collaborate with the Director of Cloud Services and various vendors of NSW Health, to oversee technical delivery practices and champion progressive use of Cloud Services.

Health Manager Level 6, commencing salary from $176,401.00 - $192,662.00 + 11% Super and annual leave loading

What you will do

As an integral member of the Cloud Services Division , you will:

  • Provide technical governance, expertise, and leadership toward the planning and delivery of Cloud Services.
  • Provide Cloud Technology solutions effectively, respond and advise on escalated operational related matters.
  • Work with leadership to establish Cloud Services technical strategy and direction, taking a customer centric approach to delivery
  • Ensure identified risks and/or issues associated with technology deliverable are proactively identified, with a view to provide technical assurance.
  • Engage with technical stakeholders across organisation including Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Programs and Delivery teams to champion progressive use of Cloud Services.
  • Assimilate input from plans, business, policy, and other key technology stakeholders to develop ‘fit-for-purpose’ Cloud Services enterprise, including solution architecture and strategies.
  • Proactively work with Cloud Services leadership to ensure that the use of Services and Technologies are cost effective and optimal.
  • Ensure alignment of Cloud Services technology to business processes and organisational changes, ensuring that the technology supports these critical activities.
