About the Job
As a Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of our global technology team and supporting both Azure and our own IaaS, client M365 environments and key client infrastructure. This is a busy and varied role, the ideal candidate will have experience working with Microsoft Cloud technologies (M365, Azure, Teams), Microsoft HA technology, backup solutions, firewalls, switches and storage technology. You will have had to have experience deploying physical infrastructure and virtual environments along with migration workloads to Azure.

- Windows Server
- Virtualisation Solutions (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace experience
- Networking (configuring firewalls/routers/switches/Load Balancers)
- Storage (SAN/NAS/Cloud Storage)
- Backup Management (Veaam, Azure Backup etc.)
- Automation / Scripting Technologies advantageous
Requirements
The following skills are REQUIRED:
- Minimum 5 years in a system engineer role or equivalent
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Azure Certifications (AZ-104 and AZ700 or AZ800/201 required at a minimum, Additional certifications would be preferred)
- Experience working with Routers, Switches and Firewalls
- Broad IT generalist experience across systems and networking
- Current scripting/automation capability – your choice of language, PowerShell preferred
- Microsoft 365 & Teams management experience
- Current Australian driver’s license, Australian PR or Citizenship

These are all designed to assist our team members’ grow in their roles and contribute to Intelliworx meeting its organisational accreditations. A requirement of this role is a commitment to prioritise and complete these quarterly goals. Resources required for you to achieve these will be provided by our Training and Development team.
