This government agency is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their established cyber security team in a 12-month contract role. You will have the opportunity of working at a government agency located in Sydney.
Your new role
As a Cloud Security Engineer, your role involves creating and deploying robust network solutions to mitigate cyber and technology risks within the organization. Additionally, you’ll offer expert advice, guidance, and assurance for secure development projects, whether they are on-premises or in the cloud.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience:
- Extensive expertise in Azure and AWS cloud design and implementation.
- Proficient in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools like Ansible, Azure ARM, Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation Stack.
- Implementation knowledge of services such as Azure AKS, Azure Container Registry, AWS EKS, and ECR.
- Deep understanding of Data Security and Security Posture Management in the Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
- Candidates must be either a Permanent Resident (PR) in Australia or an Australian or New Zealand citizen to be considered
