Edge Health Club Casuarina is Darwins largest Fitness Centre, we offer state of the art equipment, functional training areas, a large group fitness timetable, saunas, child care and the best team of staff you will find anywhere! We have been around a long time, nearly 20 years in the Darwin community and we pride ourselves on that. We love our members and we strive to always offer outstanding service and to create an open and welcoming environment for everyone that walks through our doors.

About the role…
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and people skills, have a high level of communication and professionalism and the willingness to support our member focused values.
The Club Manager will report directly to the Managing Directors and whilst there is support and training provided in the role, this individual must have the ability to work independently but to also work alongside and help grow an amazing and supportive team of staff.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a background in club management, but we don't always hire from within the industry, you may have been in a previous position that required strong customer service, sales and management qualities and skills.

Duties will include…
* Meet KPI's and sales targets
* Focus on a strong member retention strategy
* Lead, manage, motivate and recruit staff
* Plan and execute marketing and sales promotions monthly
* Respond to all alarm call outs and safety and security concerns of the club
* Maintain the cleanliness standard of the club
* Manage maintenance and safety of all equipment
* Promote the Edge brand within the community
* Social media marketing and content creation
* Administration duties, including payroll, contracts, reporting to owners
* Member compliments/complaints and/or problem solving
