Luerssen Australia was established in 2018 to commence construction of 12 Offshore Patrol Vessels for the Royal Australian Navy over a 12 year period. We work closely with our customer and stakeholders to deliver excellence in service.
The Role
To update the CMS schedule with production progress and activities for Luerssen Australia to ensure the projects scheduling objectives are met in terms of integrated schedule and risk and to support and participate in tracking and reporting deliverables and targets.
The incumbent will also set the standards and continuously improve the scheduling processes in conjunction with the area manager in a manner that supports internal requirements as well as those of their contracts.

Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of the Contract Master Schedule, plans, processes and procedures from concept through the lifecycle of the project(s)
- Promote the Earned Value (EV) related Reviews, on schedules that under your direct control
- Maintain the standards and conduct continuous improvement activities on Schedule related processes
- Liaise with the subcontractors on Project Scheduling & progress reporting
- Provide schedule related expertise to the project team (PM, CAMs and Project Controls team
- Manage the Schedule control change records for the schedules under direct control
Requirements
- Project management of Project Controls related qualification ? highly desirable
- 3 or more years experience in Project Scheduling, preferably in a Defence/shipbuilding environment ? highly desirable
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Open Plan Professional or Primavera P6 (basic to intermediate skills) ? essential
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to mentor and coach project team members in an immature project controls environment
- Willingness to travel domestically when required
