Structerre Geotechnical conducts field investigations, testing of foundation materials, laboratory testing of soil material and other exploratory work. With the use of our in-house materials testing laboratory together with our highly skilled team we are able to provide our clients with timely and accurate results.
The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and energetic individuals to join the Geotechnical Division in our Western Australian office as Senior Soil Technicians, Soil Technicians and Trainee Soil Technicians. Reporting to the Geotechnical Laboratory Manager, the duties within this role include:
- Compaction control and materials testing;
- Annex laboratories (FIFO);
- Earthworks monitoring;
- Assist with preparation of reports;
- Compliance with company OSH policies and procedures.
Who are we looking for?
Stand out applicants will have a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn. In addition, it is desirable, the successful applicant/s will demonstrate and have some or all of the below:
- Experience in MRWA and Australian standard test methods
- NATA signatory;
- NDM Portable Gauges Radiation Licence;
- A valid C class drivers licence;
- Physical fitness to a level that will allow you to operate equipment such as penetrometers safely and competently;
- A client focus;
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and efficiently;
- Self-motivation and proactivity;
- Availability to do FIFO remote work as required.
