Cnc Laser Operator

CadCut CNC Laser Cutting & Pressing is an established family owned laser cutting, pressing and fabrication business based in Wangara, WA. We pride ourselves on investing in the latest CNC technologies and robotic welding. 

We greatly value the contribution that our staff make to our business and due to company growth we are looking for an additional experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our team.

The successful applicants key duties will include:

• Perform and execute typical laser cutting operations.
• Select the correct cutting programs and sheet location.
• Establish the correct stop location, adjust laser beam focal point as required.
• Carry out accurate set-ups for cutting operations/quality.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to their supervisor.
• Ensure that jobs are completed correctly and to the acceptable quality expected by our valued customers.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Greet customers and assist with the dispatch of orders.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you have:

• Experience with C02 laser cutter (specifically Prima) preferred.
• Ability to problem solve (cut quality issues etc).
• Ability to maintain a tidy and organised work area.
• Be physically fit and able.
• Have excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Be able to work without supervision and also within a team environment.
• Be reliable and trustworthy.
• Have good time management skills.
• A current forklift ticket will be advantageous.
