A permanent opportunity has become available to work as part of our advanced CNC machining team with opportunities available in both Milling and Turning.

About the role

The main function of the CNC Machinists to manufacture components and ensure they are in line with technical drawings and match our customer & quality standards. Provide further accurate feedback and process improvement advice upon finalised products.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team with experience in CNC machining or equivalent mechanical trade.
 
Duties

• Read and interpret drawings & technical information
• Ensure workspace is kept clean & tidy to uphold safe working environment and meet housekeeping standards.
• Promote quality awareness
• Program Set and run CNC Machines 
• Compliance to AS9100 Standard
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations 

  Skills & experience
   

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Defence industry knowledge or experience preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills
• Relevant industry experience or qualifications
• Quality system knowledge / exposure preferred but not essential
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
