About the role
We are in a strong growth phase and have a new opportunity for an experienced AssemblyFitter / Machinist to join our team. This role is based in Sydney at our Alexandria factory, 6.00am - 2.30pm Monday -Thursday and 6.00am – 12.00pm Friday’s.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret Metric or imperial Engineering drawings for manufacturing.
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain work area in a safe and clean manner.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Forklift license is desirable.
- Able to perform gearbox, bearing, shaft assemblies.
- Some knowledge or experience with electrical componentry interfacing is preferable.
- A committed and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health and Safety
Qualification and experience
- Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated experience.
- Min 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter
