We are currently seeking applications for suitably experienced people to join our team in the role CNC Machinist.
Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, your key duties will include;
- Competency on programming and operating CNC lathes and machining centres.
- Must have experience programming and operating SIEMENS 828D/840D and SIEMANS SHOPTURN language
- Must come from a jobbing workshop environment.
- Must be a time served machinist with advanced experience CNC machining.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a small team environment.
- Workshop housekeeping ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Forklift ticket and overhead crane desirable.
To be successful for the role of Machinist you will have:
- Trade certificate and qualification;
- Mechanical workshop experience;
- Proven strong work ethic and reliability with willingness to work overtime;
- Knowledge and/or experience on CNC machine; and
- Forklift (desirable but not essential).
