Cnc Machinist

Woods & Co Recruitment have teamed up with a national industry leader in the manufacturing industry. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their growing team as high-end projects come in thick and fast.

Working on a Monday to Friday basis reporting directly to the Machine Shop Team Lead, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating both small and large 3 & 5-axis CNC Machines according to their client’s detailed specifications.

What do you do?

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling Machines.
• Apply technical knowledge, using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Produce high-end machined components to the client’s detailed specifications.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area, adhering to OH&S compliance whilst operating machinery.

What do you need:

• Previous experience programming and operating CNC Milling Machines within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
• Fitter and Tuner Qualification (Preferred).
• Experienced with operating Heidenhein, Siemens and/or Fanuc (Preferred).
• CAM Programming experience MasterCam, Delcam (PowerMill) or similar (Preferable).
• MUST pass a pre-employment medical / police check.
