Cnc Machinist/Programmer

About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join the manufacturing branch of our organisation which specialises in the design and manufacture of medical devices.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Program, set and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
• Create and edit programs utilising Mastercam software
• Interpret engineering drawings and machine components as specified
• Recording of production and inspection results
• Ability to work standard 5 day working week 
• Ensure company quality and performance standards are met
• Recommend changes and revisions when fabrication problems arise

Desirable skills and experience:

• Third year apprentice or above
• Experience in programming and operation of various CNC machinery including milling, turning, EDM wire cutting.
• CADCam programming utilising MasterCam software
• Understanding of technical engineering drawings and 3d CAD
• Laser Welding / Laser marking / Finishing and assembly
• Product inspection and production documentation
