Standard roster is Monday to Friday with opportunity for regular overtime and shift work. The primary focus of the role is to effectively operate CNC & Manual type machines in a “jobbing” type workshop. Machining of various types of components related to mobile mining equipment, underground equipment and various other industries will keep you engaged with meaningful work every day. Salary range $77,000 to $90,000.Role requirements
- Able to complete precision type work as per trade requirements
- Proven jobbing type work experience
- Program and operate various CNC machines
- Experience using Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazak controllers
- Competently operate manual type lathes
- Able to complete work in an efficient manner
- Accurately fill out job documentation as per QA requirements
- Demonstrate personal responsibility in maintaining safety, quality, and environmental practices
- Display consistent values and behaviours
- Effectively interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining requirements
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Good communication skills
- All the other usual things like having a good work ethic, attention to detail, take pride in your work and have your own basic tools of trade
