Our services include but are not limited to general machining, welding repairs, manufacturing, servicing hydraulic systems and specialises in hydraulic cylinder repairs both big and small for mining companies, the farming industry and earth movers.

About the Role
We have a current vacancy for an Experienced Machinist. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Accurately use a lathe including thread cutting
- General fitting along with milling and drilling operations.
- Performing machining tasks as required to manufacture Hydraulic Cylinders, including Threaded Shafts with Sized Journals
- Operating Milling machines to accurate sizes and boring holes to tolerances provided
About You
The ideal candidate will be a self starter, with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude. Have the ability to conduct complex and challenging jobs, with attention to detail, excellent time management and communication skills.
As well as holding or having the qualifications and skills below:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar - essential
- Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience
- Experience with accurate turning on manual lathes 1 - 6m
- Have mechanical knowledge of fitting and tolerances with preference of experience with hydraulic cylinders
- Experience with precision setup and milling processes on small and large mills
- Forklift/Crane License advantageous
- Current Drivers License
- Australian citizen or have permanent residency status and work rights - essential
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong focus and commitment to safety
