We are a leading packaging company with ongoing growth and we have a unique opportunity for a New Business Executive to join our highly successful Victorian Sales team, in a newly created position.
We’re looking for a senior energetic and proactive Professional that has significant experience within the packaging industry and is looking to consolidate their career. Reporting to the New Business – Sales Manager VIC, you will be well versed in building strong client relationships, thrive on the thrill of the chase, enjoy working as part of a strong team and be a natural closer.

About the role:
- Identifying, generating and qualifying new sales opportunities
- Developing and managing a healthy New Business sales pipeline
- Targeting new customer segments for growth
- Account management of a small portfolio of existing Abbe customers to assist you to hit the ground running
- Exceeding budgetary targets and KPI objectives
- Exceeding customer expectations and delivering tailored packaging solutions
- Effectively transitioning new customers to ensure an outstanding start with Abbe
- Managingart and design, new quotations and samples for your customers and liaisingwith our Packaging Engineer to ensure optimal customer experience
- Working across different industries and all levels company stakeholders
- Networking and entertaining customers in social environments
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in developing lasting relationships and have the ability to influence and drive sales excellence. You will be able to utilise your experience to proactively drive New Business opportunities that offer customers solutions and work within industries that align with corporate strategies.
- 8+ years’ experience in packaging or a related industry
- Exposure to a range of printing technologies (flexo/litho/digital) is essential
- Proven track record of successfully driving and growing a healthy sales pipeline
- Managing and achieving budget with a portfolio of customer accounts
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a positive attitude
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office and general computer skills
