The Opportunity
Reporting in to the National Operations Manager we are on the hunt for a Coffee Specialist / Sales Representative that isn't afraid to get out there and create impact for current and potential customers.
As our Coffee Key Account and Sales Representative
you’ll be responsible for:
- Account Management - Retention and growth of existing accounts, providing outstanding customer service, building relationships based on knowledge and trust, and maximizing opportunities for business growth.
- Driving Sales- Open new accounts by developing new relationships and acquiring new customers in line with business strategy.
- Growth- Grow market share by maintaining customers and increasing profitability of new and existing accounts.
- Building and Fostering Relationships-You will need to form strong relationships with café owners, managers and baristas.
- Training - Delivering high level skill development to our customers to deliver on our brand promise of coffee specialists growing the coffee business of hospitality professionals.
What we are looking for?
We require an experienced coffee professional.
You are a professional with 5+ years of coffee experience who can apply their deep knowledge of specialty coffee to our customers, helping them grow and using that superior knowledge to outcompete others in our market.
We aim for you to demonstrate:
- Passion and thirst for coffee knowledge and excellence, prior experience in the specialty coffee industry is a must;
- Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels and across functions, collaborating for best results;
- A track record of continuous improvement, implementing innovative ideas to delight our customers;
- The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously;
- A self-starter with strong business acumen who views growth and change as an opportunity.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Visiting existing clients which may include reaching out on social media, emailing or meeting in person.
• Working with colleagues, including head roaster to help align offerings with the needs of clients.
• Keeping on top of administrative tasks- such as CRM (customer relationship management) systems.
• Communicating with & informing existing clients in a way that supports an ongoing relationship.
• Barista Training
• Ability to be able to assist & offer Technical Support including machinery servicing & preventative maintenance.
