The role:
We currently have an opportunity for a coffee professional to join our wholesale team with this position in Melbourne, VIC.
The role merges coffee training and support with new sales and Business Development and therefore is suited to someone with hands-on coffee experience.
If you’re a people person that loves great coffee and cares about the way food is produced, this role is a great opportunity to work alongside like-minded people. We are looking for someone to immerse themselves in the world of coffee and clean agriculture.
In addition to sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers while providing exceptional service and support. Furthermore, you will be comfortable working autonomously to build new business relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Learning and developing a deep understanding of our coffees and coffee partners.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our sales processes, offering and resources.
- Building new business and developing a strong pipeline of potential relationships that strongly represent the Dukes brand
- Managing existing customer relationships and providing exceptional training and support to our wholesale customers
- Work closely with customers and identify areas of improvement in their coffee program.
To be successful in applying for this role you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a senior coffee professional.
- A passion for speciality coffee.
- A passion for ethically sourced, sustainable and chemical-free food.
- The ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships.
- Confidence in managing multiple tasks with ease and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations.
- Strong organisational skills and business acumen.
- Professionalism and reliability - valuing honesty and integrity in all your interactions.
