Form of workJoin Our Team as a Territory Representative for Minas Hill Coffee and Cocoa in Victoria!
This role will see you primarily identifying new business opportunities that generate new customers and managing our existing customer base in Victoria. If you have ever imagined a role where you are visiting roasters every day, drinking coffee, talking about coffee, and finding new coffee solutions exists … then here it is!
Key responsibilities:
Work with our customers and their coffee-buying teams to help select green coffee based on quality, flavor profiles, and future availability.
Conduct sample roasting for green coffee evaluation and weekly customer samples.
Organise and lead cupping sessions with prospects and customers showcasing new season crops and different solutions available.
Work with our sales team to identify potential customers.
Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in coffee roasting, Brazilian coffee farming, and sourcing.
Interstate travel to assist with roasters and national sales team when required.
Experience:
- A track record as a coffee roaster or barista.
- Q Grading certification or desire to complete.
- Good knowledge of coffee roasting equipment.
- Awareness of green coffee evaluation, sample roasting, and the coffee buying process.
- Strong sensory skills for cupping and quality assessment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for coffee, with a continuous desire to learn and innovate.
- Outstanding communication skills.
