About this opportunity
The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of entities that have been referred to the SilverChef Arrears Department; and more specifically manage the entire Asset Recovery process within the Department.
You’ll be pivotal in liaising with our Customers, Third Parties, Collections Partners, landlords and other internal SilverChef departments to ensure the best possible outcome for both SilverChef and the customer.

- Display a high level of business acumen and be confident in communicating internally and externally to ensure the quick resolution of matters.
- Management of Asset Recovery including repossession/returns.
- Ensuring that SilverChef Debt Lifecycle is adhered to and you are taking timely and effective action on accounts assigned.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding the Asset Recovery portfolio and ensure that key risks (financial and reputational) are escalated as required.
- Meet individual and team key performance indicators.
- Contribute to other projects and tasks as directed by management.
What you’ll need to succeed
- An effective communicator that has the ability to relate to customers and other stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Two plus years collections experience, ideally with Asset Recovery exposure.
- High level of analytical skills.
- Decisive - Ability to make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of the National Debt Collection guidelines and legislation.
