Our client, Di Prinzio Concreting, is a leading Concreting business in Newcastle. Now in its third generation of leadership, they are expanding their operations and seeking a dedicated Commercial Concrete Supervisor to join their team. Based in Broadmeadow with recent expansion into the Mid-North Coast, this opportunity arises due to the company's rapid growth and increased workload demands.
As the Commercial Concrete Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a crew of 5 to 15 workers on various commercial job sites, primarily focusing on high-rise concrete construction projects. The role demands flexibility, with work hours varying as required by project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a crew of 5 to 15 workers on commercial job sites.
- Execute tasks ranging from formwork to concrete placement and finishing.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate project activities.
- Uphold a strong culture of safety, implementing Safety Management Systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in leading a concreting crew, preferably on commercial sites.
- 5 + years of overall experience in concreting.
- Expertise in all aspects of concreting, including formwork, steel fixing, and plan reading.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and lead teams.
- Positive attitude, commitment to excellence, and dedication to safety protocols.
