By expanding into new technology and relentlessly improving every day, we're creating a better tomorrow for all Australians.We believe in the strength of a vibrant, diverse and inclusive workforce where backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences of our people help us innovate and create strong connections with our customers.In this role you'll be joining a team focused on working across multi-party agreements as a Commercial Contract Manager throughout the contract lifecycle from pre-contract to post contract, assisting with gaining incremental business and resolving commercial disputes with favourable outcomes.As a Commercial Contract Manager, working on one or more Tier 1 customer contracts (high-value ICT and evolving customer-facing accounts; typically in Financial Services Industry depending on account size and complexity).The Day to Day· Manage the development of, drafting, documentation and approvals of contracts, contract changes, and Statements of Works with Customer and Suppliers and all relevant stakeholders.· Provide a single management point for escalation of customer contractual and contractual commercial issues, disputes and settlements with respect to contractual requirements.· Interpret, implement and monitor contract obligations. Responsible for tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, risks, maintaining associated registers.· Sales support for new business opportunities with negotiation and drafting of customer and supplier agreements, amendments, statements of works and project activities· Ensuring a robust post-sales contract management relationship is created with expectation and service quality front of mind.· Be the single point of contact for critical issue of customer / subcontractor contractual commercial issues, disputes, and settlements with respect to contractual requirements. Identify areas to improve the commercial performance of the account including reducing potential exposures or claims from customers or suppliers· Negotiate and approval of 3rd party supply contracts and Statements of Work.· Commercial Risk Management - Interpret, implement and monitor contract obligations (tracking changes, risks and maintaining registers).· Lead review and sign-off on major services agreements.Why you are our next Commercial Contracts ManagerYou will work with the account team and the customer to help review contracts, identify risk, manage risk and mitigation strategies, oversee Optus and the customer's compliance to contracted commitments, assist in sales enablement for new opportunities, and grow customer satisfaction.You will bring demonstrated previous experience in a same or similar position coupled with high level relationship skills and the ability to create/implement plans accordingly. Your high attention to detail and ability to identify/solving for solution will be pivotal.
